THE HEAT IS ON!

Think your chili recipe is hot? Here’s your chance to prove it! Join us for another afternoon of great food, fun, and RED HOT competition!  Participating in the NJIT Young Alumni Club Chili-Cook-off is a great way to show your Highlander spirit and to promote your student group or department! There will lots of great prizes, and lots of winners.

In addition to the best-tasting chili in various categories, there will be a prize for the “Best of Show” based on theme, costume, audience appeal, originality and enthusiasm. In other words, something for everybody!

So join the fun with the other fraternities, sororities, alumni groups, honor societies, and departments in the campus community, have fun, and earn bragging rights for your group. The fee to enter is $10.00, and the proceeds will benefit NJIT and NJ SEEDS, which funds scholarships for economically disadvantaged students.

Event Details

To enter you must bring four quarts of chili. Gourmet Dining will supply warming pans and sternos.

Location: NJIT Campus – exact location TBD

Sign In: 10-11 a.m.

Table Set-up:  11:15 a.m.

Public Tasting: 12 noon-1:45 p.m.

Awards Presented: 2 p.m.

Entry Fee: $10.00
